MS HOPE Foundation provides financial assistance for MS-related expenses. As you may already know, multiple sclerosis is very expensive to treat and manage. We’re trying to fill the gap between what insurance companies and larger organizations will cover and what patients can afford to pay.
We want to help people with what they need right now so they can live less stressful, more comfortable and productive lives.
Items and services we cover include, but are not limited to, the following:
- air conditioners
- cooling vests
- hand brakes
- home healthcare services
- home modifications (ramps, shower bars, etc.)
- leg braces
- lifts
- medications
- occupational therapy
- physical therapy
- psychotherapy
- scooters
- speech therapy
- transportation
- utility bills
- walkers
- wheelchairs
- wheelchair-accessible vehicles
This list is not exhaustive. We will *consider* covering any item or service a person with MS needs, as long as they fill out our application and submit all the required paperwork. We reserve the right to request additional documentation and to conduct background checks.
Please note, our turnaround time is usually about three weeks to a month, but will vary based on how quickly we receive all of your documentation.
We DO NOT make rent or mortgage payments. We ONLY pay providers directly; we DO NOT write personal checks under any circumstances.
If you have any questions or concerns, email us at info@mshopefoundation.org or call us at 424.646.3867.
